When two four year old kids can be taught by a skilled teacher to mediate their own conflict and find a solution agreeable to both then there is no excuse that people in a global culture can&#039;t be raised with fairness, caring and respect.]]></description>

Shame of it is I was her most consistent emotional support and actually tried to negate the drug use. It spiraled out of control once we went our separate ways. Her parents just couldn&#039;t emotionally connect with their daughters.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[I&#039;m sorry, but I find the title of this piece misleading to those who might be limited to reading only the subject title. While you go on to discredit pro-spanking &#039;research&#039;, in actuality, there is none... not according to any professional journal related to the care and/or treatment of children. &#039;Research&#039; should not be categorized as such unless published in a peer-reviewed professional journal.

Fact is, there has never been such a published study indicating positive outcomes of spanking children under any criteria, whether it be as a form of punishment, a teaching model, a method of long-term behavior modification, or a treatment of children that does not produce a negative impact on the parent-child relationship. 

The article is otherwise very well done and informative.]]></description>
