Or, perhaps, you do know there is a name for it, with many synonyms and variations, but you live it out without being defined.

Some may know what they know about it from a critique or a comment. But, every day, growing numbers of parents find the name and the communities that come with it – and breathe a sigh of relief to find welcome, encouragement, information, and freedom from judgment.

  2. some of the best advice i got while pregnant was from my local la leche league leader. she said, “motherhood doesn’t come with an instruction book, but you won’t need one. the answers are already written in your heart. look there.” so, i did. and that’s AP! 🙂

  3. p.s. attachment parenting IS about fostering a confident, independent, and socially competent child, who will eventually be the same as an adult. 🙂
